Stressing on the Construction Site
Multi-strand stressing jacks
TENSA M or TENSA M-PV multi-strand stressing jacks are designed for the quick and exact post-tensioning of multi-strand tendons.
Compared to the TENSA M jacks (with rear-gripping feature), the front-gripping TENSA M-PV models only require a very short projecting strand length for attachment. They are equipped with an integrated hydraulic piston to provide power seating of the anchor wedges.

Stay cable technology
Depending on the method adopted, stay cables are either stressed complete using large multi-strand stressing jacks or inserted individually in stay cable ducts and stressed using lightweight single-strand stressing jacks. We supply suitable stressing jacks and strand pulling / pushing equipment for both methods.
The stay cables of existing bridges are adjusted using large multi-strand stressing jacks. The stress is increased or reduced by stretching the whole stay cable and tightening or loosening the anchor nuts.
For prestressing on the construction site, we offer a wide range of accessories, which are easily transportable and are consequently flexible in use.
They include portable and wheel-mounted pump units, large strand pushing machines with pneumatic tyres, plus cable or radio controls and any more. Please contact us with your special requirements.
All heavy equipment is fitted with strong lifting eyes and can thus be easily loaded by crane
Cable or radio control makes the operation of a strand pushing machine much easier. The operator does not stand at the pushing device but directly at the tendon and is thus in a much better position to monitor the insertion of the strands. Naturally, a radio controlled system also provides a valuable service in the concrete factory for pushing the strands into the mould.
